Table Casino Fresno City

The Table Mountain Rancheria (Tribe) is considering the relocation of the existing Table Mountain Casino to an alternative location within its federally-designated tribal trust lands north of Millerton Road in Fresno County, California. An Environmental Evaluation (EE) was prepared consistent with Section 10.8 of the 1999 Tribal-State Gaming Compact and the Tribe’s Environmental Protection Ordinance (Ordinance No. 2017-13) to assess the potential for off-Reservation environmental impacts as a result of the Table Mountain Rancheria Casino Relocation Project (Proposed Project). As described in detail in Section 2.0 of the Environmental Evaluation, the new casino would include approximately 110,000 square feet of gaming floor, a 151-room hotel, restaurants, a gift shop, a child care facility, special event venue, banquet and meeting space, and related amenities (Proposed Project). The existing Table Mountain Casino would be closed and the facilities converted into tribal governmental uses, such as administrative offices or tribal services, following construction of the Proposed Project.

Public Review and Comments
As part of the Tribe’s environmental review process, the Environmental Evaluation was made available for review by members of the public, regulatory agencies, and other interested parties for the following 30-day time period: May 29, 2018 to June 28, 2018. A Public Hearing was held on June 28, 2018, at the Ramada Inn located at 324 E Shaw Ave, Fresno, CA 93710, to receive comments on the project. Two agencies and nine private individuals submitted written comments during the comment period. Eight verbal comments from private individuals were provided during the Public Hearing. Responses to Comments are provided in the Completed Documents section above. In response to comments, the Traffic Impact Study was revised and changes have been incorporated into a Final EE document (provided above) as appropriate. The Tribe adopted the Final EE and recommended mitigation on January 14, 2019.
